Who What Where Theater Company is dedicated to producing new works by new playwrights. We believe in the communal power of the theater and create experiences that bring the actor and the audience together.

Rebecca Wahls


...is a playwright born and raised in Northern Virginia. His play Saudade, the one where I miss you premiered at the 2016 Capital Fringe Festival to rave reviews, earning a “Best of Capital Fringe 2016” rating on DC Metro Theater Arts. Reid teaches playwriting and acting for Acting for Young People year round and co-authored their newest touring production, Swings & Slides. His ten-minute plays were frequently produced at George Mason University. He has also participated in staged reading at the Hub.


...director, has worked with regional companies such as Constellation Theater Company, Forum Theatre Company, and 1st Stage as an assistant while self-producing her own work and the work of her very talented friends at the Capital Fringe Festival (Dark Times at Grimesville High, 2016; The Goddess Diaries, 2014). She works full time with Acting for Young People, writing and directing plays for everyone from five-year-olds to 60-year-olds. ...is a local actor and playwright. He graduated magna cum laude from George Mason University with a BA in Theatre, concentrating in Performance and Playwriting & Dramaturgy. He works as a Lead Teaching Artist and Administrative Assistant with Acting For Young People and loves when his students brighten his days. Recent acting work includes: Ned in Dark Times at Grimesville High (Capital Fringe '16), Tom in An Experiment with an Air Pump, and The Doctor in Woyzeck. Playwright/literary work: Swings & Slides (with Acting for Young People), Give Thanks, The Happy Meal, and dramaturg for Dido, Queen of Carthage.


… Managing Director, is to go-to for navigating the complex legalscape of the IRS and ensuring these artists comply with required regulations. He moonlights as a social media manager and you can often find him @wwwtheaterco when he is supposed to be at work (..erm..consulting…or..something). Michael is a graduate of George Mason University with dual degrees of Philosophy / Government and International Relations. While his passion is, clearly, for considering himself an expert on every imaginable topic, he is fiercely dedicated to the mission of this company and ensuring its success. Michael says, “the time spent working for Who What Where gives more than it takes and has been a major source of happiness post-grad.”



...Production Manager, is a freelance stage manager from Northern Virginia and recent graduate of Virginia Tech. She received a B.S. in Business Management, concentrating in Human Resources. Notable shows at Virginia Tech include Spring Awakening: The Musical, Glengarry Glen Ross, Clybourne Park, as well as a number of new play festivals and workshops. She assisted playwright/director Kristin Rose Kelly in the artistic development of A Chip On Her Shoulder, a documentary theatre piece about women in engineering that is set to tour major universities across the nation. She currently works as a summer camp teaching artist for Acting For Young People in Fairfax, Virginia. What's next: Stage Management Apprentice for Portland Center Stage.
